Life Poster’s are great for business

Did you know that you can use a Life Poster photo collage to promote your business or organisation? A life poster is a great way to show off your products or services to your customers and clients. Below are two examples we have done recently. The first is for Busy Bees Teas who are based in Lymington, Hampshire. Cupcakes make a great starting point (and a tasty one – we did get to eat a couple!) and the life poster we designed for them shows off the cakes really well.

The second example is for a new and exciting hair stylist based in Edinburgh. The life poster shows off the creativity of stylist Ruth Donaldson from JustHair by combining close up and wide shots to create a stunning an eye catching design.

Hard drive problems

We’ve recently had a hard drive failure in the office, which although was rather annoying as it had to be sent away to be fixed and meant we were one computer down, it wasn’t the end of the world as our resident techy insists on backups, backups, and more backups. But what if your hard drive goes and it’s not backed up and you lose all your photos??!

One IT expert reports, “Disks fail. The question isn’t, “Will it fail?”. The question is, “When will it fail?”. That’s a fact of life.” He goes on to say that he would recommend replacing working discs when they have 40,000 hours or more of power on time – there’s 8760 hours in one year – but this can vary, our’s was only a year and a half old.

So even more of a reason to put your photos in one of our life posters today!
You may be interested to know we keep backups of all our work so if a customer ever wants a reprint of their life poster it’s no problem at all.

I’m probably stretching the limits of saying Happy New Year on the 10th Jan, but as it is the first post of 2012 it seems appropriate. We’ve seen some brilliant photos over the last month as we created lots of life posters for Christmas, and they all arrived in time, thank you UPS and Royal Mail!

My son is talking about going skiing, he’s only 4 and has watched it on TV and thinks it looks great, he’s a dab hand on his scooter and bike so he’d probably take to it, but his brother is only 18 months so a bit young to go this year. Maybe next year.. It got me thinking about getting some great skiing or snowboarding photos to make a life poster, I read the other day that competitive skiers go 80mph, which is amazingly fast, no wonder it hurts when they have a crash! Anyway it would be great to get some sporty life posters on our site, so if you’re planning a Winter holiday this year, why not send us your pics and we will turn them into a life poster for you. Maybe we could use them on our site to show what we do.

Wherever 2012 takes you we look forward to seeing some great photos this year.

A life poster makes a fantastic Christmas gift, but you’ll need to be aware of our deadline dates for orders:

For unframed life poster collages:
Wednesday 14th December

For framed life poster collages:
Wednesday 7th December

These are the dates that we will need to recieve your photos by to ensure we can dispatch your life poster in time for Christmas.

Gift vouchers can be purchased up to midday 23rd for emailing. If you want your gift voucher to be posted, then you will need to place your order by 20th December.
